Inscription
Permanent attachment of arbitrary data to a blockchain unit (on Dogecoin, a Doginal-style payload in a transaction).

An inscription is arbitrary data (image, text, JSON, etc.) embedded in a blockchain transaction so that an indexer can treat it as a discrete digital artifact.
On Dogecoin, inscriptions in the Doginals sense are written into transaction data and tracked against the UTXO model—analogous in concept to Bitcoin Ordinals inscriptions, but on a separate chain with its own tooling and fee market.
Inscriptions are intended to be permanent at the data layer (as long as the chain history is retained). Market interfaces, wallets, and brand sites may come and go; the on-chain bytes remain subject to standard blockchain availability.
